Stephen Miksis
Former Operations and Maintenance Manager
CWEA Collections Grade IV
Stephen Miksis joined the team at Miksis Services Inc. (MSI) in 2003 after attending the University of Southern California from '97 to '02 while attending the School of Economics.   Working for MSI provided him the knowledge skills and abilities to condition assess and rehabilitate wastewater, storm water and industrial waste infrastructure in Northern and Central California.   This included manhole inspections and rehabilitation, cured in place point repairs, full length CIPP and PVC fold and form installations.

In 2010, Stephen started working at Ross Valley Sanitary District in Marin County as the Lead CCTV Operator.   His initial duties were to start a condition assessment program and purchase the equipment needed to make this a reality.   Within 6 months, he was promoted to Acting Superintendent for Line Maintenance where he initiated the Districts cured in place point repair program with the incredible efforts of the Repair Crew and their Supervisor.

Due to the severity of the failing infrastructure in 2012, the District choose to implement a CMMS program called InfoNet (Now InfoAsset) and that is how he met Katherine Hayden.   The integration of the CMMS to develop an asset management program lead to many positive changes at the District as most of the dials started to turn in the right direction and have positive trends.

After the staff reorganization at the District in 2016? Stephen was hired on as the Operations and Maintenance Manager where the team continued their successes and they received the Collection System of the Year award from the Redwood Empire Section as well as other accolades.

In March 2021, Stephen left the District to start SKL Solutions Inc. so that our team may be able to assist others in their needs regarding asset management, planner scheduler, training and program development.  You are not alone so please let us know how we can meet or exceed your needs.
